RV vs boat storage
A lot of storage lots take both, but the questions you'll want to ask are a bit different.
Boats
- Measure the whole rig: boat plus trailer, tongue to tail. Leesburg 44 Storage, for example, counts the combined length (source).
- Check the door or canopy height if you have a tower, bimini or outboards tilted up.
- Lake towns like Lake Havasu City have many enclosed units sized for boats. See our Lake Havasu list.
RVs
- Class A motorhomes and fifth wheels need extra length and height. Ask whether pull-through spaces are available. Absolute in Lake Havasu and Ameripark in Mesa advertise them.
- Power for a battery tender is valuable over long storage.
- A dump station on site saves you a stop (Cover All Storage near The Villages and Ameripark list one).
Both
Many lots require current registration, an operational vehicle and proof of insurance. Always call to confirm.
